Project Demolition Phasing Plan

EVK Consulting was retained to design an engineered demolition phasing plan for a General Contractor and Steel Fabricator at a high level warehouse in Brampton. To accommodate installation of new loading dock bays, existing structural steel columns and framing needed to be removed. The Prime Consultant originally specified that shoring was needed, however, EVK analyzed and designed the phasing plan such that the Owner saved tens of thousands of dollars in shoring costs, and the General Contractor saved weeks in construction. EVK also provided construction inspection services for the duration of the project.
